Customer at my job really creeps all the female employees out

Hey everyone, I work at a retail store, and there is a customer who comes in once or twice a week, spends about an hour shopping (it’s a small store and doesn’t take that long to find what you need) and makes weird and creepy flirtatious comments to all the female employees that are working. Everytime he comes in, all the female employees go somewhere to avoid him, and I (a male) have to go to the register and check him out until he’s out of the store. He doesn’t necessarily say anything malicious, but will make flirtatious comments such as “Hey I like your hair that way” or “You have really pretty eyes”. My general manager has talked to this guy already but clearly he has not taken it seriously because he came in again today saying all the same things and not toning the flirting down at all.…

My general manager has talked to this guy already but clearly he has not taken it seriously because he came in again today saying all the same things and not toning the flirting down at all. I told my general manager about it again and he said he will talk to him the next time he comes in, but I’m my personal opinion, I think the customer should be barred from shopping here. I work at a corporate retail store and not sure what the process is from barring a customer from shopping at our store, but I feel like simply talking to him about his comments won’t be enough. What do you think? Am I overreacting? Or is my general manager under reacting?

Edit: not sure if this is the correct sub for this or not, but didn’t know a better one to post in.
