Ever since our store came under new management, we've been expected to do some pretty asanine things. I, for example, have had my hours severely cut and yet they still expected me to get all i would get done in a 35 hour work week in a 15 hour work week. Some of my coworkers have been scheduled oddly to where they technically have 24 hours between shifts but no actual break day. Not to mention the company's availability sheet states that though they will try to keep to your availability, if you're schdeuled outside of it youre SOL. All the added stress at work, on top of the financial stress, has started to make me burned out and severely depressed. I know for most the solution is to get another job, but I dont know if my joints can handle another, or if I even have a chance at getting hired.
I just want to be able to rest. For those of you who no longer work but still survive in this capitalist society, especially those who are 'not disabled enough' to qualify for financial aid, how do you do it? How do you survive?
