dad asked me how much i think, i should be making, at my job.

I was complaining to my dad that i wasnt making near enough at my job ($16 an hour) so he asked me how much I think my job is worth. I told him for the skill and hard labor I do it should be about $35 an hour. He couldn't believe I thought I should be making that much. He basically implied my job isnt worth that much. But I guess im the delusional one for valuing my own worth, and for thinking even bare minimum jobs should pay atleast $20 an hour. For the record my dad is almost 70 and retired.
