I'll be completely straight when I say I come from a hard conservative household, but with me getting out of college and understanding the working world and growing my views alot more, I understand just how flawed things are by observing things from a political standpoint. I can't even have decent conversations with my parents anymore about the job market, because its like talking to someone who is living in the matrix. All they listen to is mainstream news sources and literally cannot comprehend that it isnt fucking people on the opposite side to them that are killing this country. Granted politics in general is destroying this country, but thats why im saying people need to take an objective look at this situation we are in.
They still say “all you need is experience and to work hard” and eventually youll make it too success. Since thats all they were taught without understanding that this country was never by that philosophy, and that we were fed a plate of lies. Its hard to even say to them I literally have no hope for my future, I dont think ill be able to by a house, ill never have their measure of success. Then no matter what I do the gap just keeps widening for me and ill just be wage slave for the rest of my life. Promotions arent given out for hard work anymore and I wish they would believe that. They cant comprehend that this country is literally regressing back into fucking slavery from corpos with all the power and are still worrying about fucking minimum wage increases.
Sorry this was so long, but im just frustrated and its just sad. Ive grown beyond a political view and its like awakening from the matrix and I just wish more people would actually start to question who is actually in charge to.
