I currently work in a group where my leader is playing games of favoritism and exclusion.
I want to leave but I want to give my leader responsibility to help me find the new role..I want to move to continue to learn an area I love (cyber security) and to keep my skills developing. I've tried give and get feedback on this situation but the last 18 months has been short bursts of stability slowly draining back to the same old behaviors.
Has anybody ever forced a trade/transfer like that? How did it go? How did you frame it?
My goals are to learn this trade and avoid the drama but I want the pull on my shitty leader's vast network and connections to my benefit..
