I recently (september 2) asked my boss (store owner) for a week off in November, my request was met with “there really isn't anyone to cover” yet this boss has bent over backwards to ensure a different employee read as favourite could have a weekend off in October to go to a football game, like I'm not asking for the world on a platter I'm asking for a week off to do schoolwork so I don't fail my classes. Boss knows I'm a student and that I value my studies. I don't really know what to do honestly because it's a frustrating double standard.
