Before I went on paternity leave, my company did a reorg. I was about to go on paternity leave and spoke to the new manager letting her know that I was concerned that I wouldn't get one of the lesson positions bc I would be home during the transition period. She assured me that that wasn't the case.
After interviewing I learned that I got neither of the manager positions and didn't even get a senior position that newer and interested people got. In order to keep my benefits, I accepted the 'new position' I was offered and went on my paternity leave. It worked out ok, but I still think that I was looked over due to this.
Do I have a case I can build here?
