This was a few years ago now (I'm medically disabled now)
I used to work for a family ran food factory.
I took a fortnight off for my birthday, mainly spent it chilling out at home or going for drives in the countryside (UK).
Anyway I go back after 2 weeks off clock on and start setting up a line for my supervisor when I'm told go to the office, my supervisor said that he had no clue why.
We go to office and get told I'm being investigated for employee sabotage of a product. I looked at them in confusion and asked what the hell they were on about.
When they clairified, I looked at the ops manager and my supervisor. Then reminded them I had been off for 2weeks and this according to the manager happened during that break, that HE had signed the form for.
He then looked at the report. Said something about them getting the wrong person (there were 3 of us with same first name ) he just called me in without thinking, no apologies no nothing just a go back to work instruction.
This happened slot there to multiple ppl, well that and constant false accusations. I got accused of theft, sexual harassment etc over the years and always cleared.
I knew I wasn't popular with slot of my shift due to me being different (I didn't go out drinking all my wages away every weekend/engage in one night stands etc, I'm a geek and proud of it lol, my overtime went on videogames, Warhammer 40k models, books etc).
Odd thing is while I was in hospital later on the guy that had made a lot of false accusations against me, got fired for groping a female member of staff.
I miss working, but enjoy my enforced early retirement now
