I have bipolar disorder which is classified as a disability. I want to disclose it in case I have any mental health related emergency and they can easily see that there is a pre-existing condition.
On the other hand I don't want to be first off the chopping block should the company have lay-offs.
I'm worried about the potential threat to my employment should I disclose it, but also the threat should I not.
What have you guys done?
