Hello Reddit so I need answers for this sticky situation. I just got this new job and couldn’t make to my first day of work due to ongoing health condition. I was diagnosed with gallstones and diverticulitis two days before my first day. I wont be able to start anytime soon since this condition is extremely painful and it hard for me to perform daily activities. My surgery is lands on Jan 13 and still have to recover for a month after that surgery. So should I quit? How do I go about this situation.
