Do I tell my boss about gossip?

Not sure if this is the right sub, but here goes… I try to keep to myself and stay out of drama/gossip at work, but I got roped into an awkward situation. Long story short, a coworker from another department was being nosy and messaged me on Teams asking “off the record”, how often another coworker comes into the office (they are both in same department). I knew where this was going so I simply replied with “hmm, why do you ask?” She then says a manager asked her. I didn’t have the heart not to tell my coworker about it. I’m afraid now that her manager will get in trouble for having employees check on other employees and that I will get involved somehow. Should I mention this at all to my manager? I don’t want to be involved in the situation any more or bring it up, but…

Should I mention this at all to my manager? I don’t want to be involved in the situation any more or bring it up, but does my manager need to know? Very torn especially because year end reviews are coming up and I don’t want this to affect mine negatively.
