My mom just got laid off from her job at BNY Mellon. They are as anti-worker as you can get. Every time workers tried to unionize over the years BNY fired every single supporter. This has happened several times. They also hire thousands of people only to use and abuse them and then lay them all off after they've provided their usefulness. They just laid off thousands to get bigger profits. “Make the books look nicer,” My mom asked for accommodations a little while before she got laid off because she has a disability. They denied it and now that she was laid off, she was thinking about suing for disability discrimination, but her last words on the matter is: “You can't fight a big company like that. You just can't.”
Do not work for BNY Mellon. Period.
