Does “sunk-cost fallacy” concept applies to job hunting and attending interviews when seeking better job opportunities?

Say you have interviews lined up while you try to uphold a shitty job. It means calling out or coming in late. It’s not an absolute guarantee that you can land any of these jobs. Would it be more worth it to secure and prioritize your job but risking losing opportunities to see and obtain better employment elsewhere… orrrr is it better to take risks to see these new potential employers but also risking to get fired? Does “sunk-cost fallacy” applies here?
