Sounds reasonable, right? Well my wife has been home with Covid and it was hitting her pretty hard. Obviously she woke up late, and to that email from her boss. I told her explicitly to that she should tell him that her working at all is a courtesy, and he should be happy that she was doing it. But she's timid and doesn't do conflict. I was pissed.
Today is day six of her having Covid and she is clearly not better. Her boss still wants her to come into the office, even though her whole job can be done from home without any disruptions.
