Don’t let them make you think this is normal

When I was hired at PetCo, I was under the assumption that I would be trained. I was, but not in any way, shape, or form, as a cashier. But they stuck my ass on cashier and were frustrated when I had no clue what I was doing. Ended up being coaxed to leave, which is another story When I was hired at the Florence Nightingale Inn, I was under the assumption that I would be trained. They barely scratched the surface, and now are frustrated that I'm struggling, even almost 3 months later. And with the advent of a poor worker who was sent off to do drive thru with absolutely no training, I'm seeing a disgusting pattern. If you don't have time/resources to train someone, you're a bad company. Period.
