I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I mai ly just want to let some steam off about the situation and get just a couple replies back on if I'm right to do what I think… Im a supervisor in a small general store of about 10 staff. Drugs obviously isn't something to be bragging about but a 19 year old assistant thats been with us (for too long imo) is doing my nut in and my manager will not talk to anyone let alone him about it because she is too socially awkward to mention it. Ive done many drugs myself when I was 16 – 20ish and now I'm almost 30 I'm just fed up of hearing this kid at work bragging about what drugs he's been doing, he openly says he is still tripping from whatever pills he had the night before or telling us AND CUSTOMERS how good the weed he has is because its laced in something. Told him already I don't think he's cool and don't give a shit about what drugs he's on. Always seems to be his convo starter to tell me what he's done last night and it's really effecting his job, losing money by being negligent in cash handling because he gives too much back or doesn't money at all because he's too high. he's an absolute joke and I want to know if as a retail supervisor if i have a right to tell him to go home until the manager calls him because I can't work with him for much longer and the manager needs to step up and stop being a little bitch about talking to staff about problems. Our staff are amazing and it's only him causing problems but she really has a problem with taking to people one on one and honestly she's only a manager cuz her husband is a head office boss of some sort
