Dumb question: antiwork vs automation?

I'm fairly new to the anti work movement, so I wanted to know what the anti-work stance is on automation (ChatGPT potentially being able to replace writing related jobs, robots taking orders at fast food restaurants, etc). I noticed a lot of anti-automation sentiment in past posts since people would be losing their jobs, but wouldn't automation mean that people can be free of work and can dedicate their time to things they actually want to do? I work in tech, and when faced with ChatGPT being able to write code (full of mistakes, but still code) although I do love coding and would fight to keep my job, a tiny part of me wondered what it would be like for parts of my job to be automated so I could spend less time on work, and more time learning things like philosophy and art (this might be my privilege…

I noticed a lot of anti-automation sentiment in past posts since people would be losing their jobs, but wouldn't automation mean that people can be free of work and can dedicate their time to things they actually want to do? I work in tech, and when faced with ChatGPT being able to write code (full of mistakes, but still code) although I do love coding and would fight to keep my job, a tiny part of me wondered what it would be like for parts of my job to be automated so I could spend less time on work, and more time learning things like philosophy and art (this might be my privilege talking as I live in a US city where community college is free for all residents and I can easily take classes if I have the time).

I'd love to get educated and find out more about the relationship between automation and working (or not working) if anyone has any insight; I'm not sure if my train of thought is missing something.
