I work at Lowes and one of my coworkers was looking for the cheat sheet of all the plywood item numbers on it. We have a Rolodex of all the items for building materials and stuff from outside lawn and garden. I finally found the sheet and made a copy for her. Then I was stopped by one of the supervisors and she asked me where I got that sheet like it was some kind of demonic pamphlet. The paper had to be shredded. I told her I thought it was dumb to have to look through something that had 50+ pages instead of the just one that the cashier had to look at. “Item numbers change” was the reason we don't use the single sheet of paper instead. I'm very much done working for people that don't think about more than was big brother CEO man/lady tells them to think.
