So I'm sure most of you are familiar with the CVS cards, speedy rewards card, Kroger plus card ect…
Well the retailers i listed don't or at least dont hard core force their employees to push the cards.
But ollie's bargain outlet does, they're totally into it and you must meet a 17% goal. Except hummm 17% of what? Oh and hummm you can be new, go a bunch of days without one single customer singing up and boom one day get one person to sign up and you're sitting at 25% percent, but boy oh boy thats gonna drop over night you'll probably go to ummm 15%.
Miss a day of cards because you didn't run register via you was in the back doing ticking and stocking and your number for the week will fall again this time most likely 13%
Get another card and humm it's like they'll most likely make up yet another number but you're not making goal!
RANT ALERT!
So like all employers today they constantly scream “we can't get workers”! Or “nobody wants to work”!
Welp they write people up and fire them for this bullshit points card unrealistic goal.
If i had known this i wouldn't have bothered, I just need to go get an office job as I'm tired of manual labor! I've got plenty of management experience but other than the temp joint it sems hard to get into office work especially to make decent money!
Yes folks, i said I'm tired of manual labor, of course the age dick waggers wonder how old i am to make such a statement no matter the number i say they'll wag their fingers and or dicks n blabb about “back in my day” blah blah blah.
So I'm 38 and can't be bothered with manual labor anymore, and no i don't care what your old n dead relatives have done, for i never twisted their arm to anything.
I also don't care what age you are and what you do! I don't care if you've done blah blah blah, blah blah for 30 years, because umm yeah not me, it's too bad you dont have any testicles and so you allowed your self to be brainwashed the same way you'd try to brainwash me into “hard work”, and that's by shaming me into it!
Growing up i remember hearing that an abuse victim will or could become an abuser themselves.
“Work ethic” should be considered a form of abuse simply because it's forced and if you question it, the pep talk you'll receive is going to consist of lectures and other forms of not just brow beating but a complete shame fest designed to make you submit, it can also turn into the victim crying and being sorry bowing down to the shame. Its cult like, of for a decade now I've called work ethic a false religion!
RANT OVER!
Well back to rewards cards… Most customers dont want them, they really do say tgeyt just want to get their items and leave!
No one wants to hold up the line and give email addresses and phone numbers as well as first and last name!
Not only does it take forever, but hey that's a lot of personal information to give out in public.
