Emotionally Drained at the Office

I really do see why so many people won't give up their WFH. I have never had it, but starting to feel like if I don't soon I will break. I am currently on a leave of absence as my father died and it was under upsetting circumstances. I managed all of his Healthcare (the admin aspect) and it got intense. I really do see why so many people won't give up their WFH. I have never had it, but starting to feel like if I don't soon I will break. I am currently on a leave of absence as my father died and it was under upsetting circumstances.

I managed all of his Healthcare (the admin aspect) and it got intense. I had to take and make calls frequently during work which I was able to do since I'm in Admin.

But now that I'm on leave, I can't believe I managed. My manager is so friendly but incredibly self centered and I have another coworker who is the same. They require constant acknowledgement. My manager is worse in that if she sees you need space she gives you less space and just pecks and pecks. She has main character syndrome and when your head is swimming with thoughts about your dad dying any moment you don't care what someone had for dinner or what their plans are. I'm so anxious about going back because when I'm anxious I just like to work alone quietly and not converse. It isn't personal. I just get so overstimulated by all the socialization. My manager has actively caused me to make mistakes on my work multiple times.
