These last few months have definitely exposed what shady shit goes down at my job.
An office employee put in his notice because he hates how the company is being run and he doesn't get paid enough.
A coworker that has been reported multiple times, treats everyone like garbage, has made people quit, and barely does her job, is getting promoted to manager come June. (Because there's no one else supposedly)
According to people that work in other departments, if she is given the position there will be a mass walk out and several more of our long time employees will quit.
Another coworker I work closely just found out she was quietly “promoted” with no pay raise, just more responsibilities and stress. Plus other managers are ignoring her messages about a trainee being absolutely useless/not doing anything related to the job. Shes most likely quitting because of that and I don't blame her.
I'm also on the verge, I was trying to last to get a car and finally move on, but this place is just a toxic cesspool of bullshit behind the scenes. I'm not one for believing in signs, but this constant crumbling is making alarm bells continuously ring.
Been applying to jobs now more than ever and I have a zoom interview next week. Praying I can land something before quitting.
