Employee Notice Question!

I recently accepted a job offer in private Corp (Jan 2022) I am well educated and have experience in finance The reason I switched job was because I wanted out of sales. This new job promised corporate experience and great opportunities for growth. I accepted, taking a small pay decrease (as I didnt have any corporate experience prior) Fast forward till now. Their internal workings and financial reporting are a mess! There is major communication issues internally and my pay is always 3-10 days late. They haven't been repayed my expenses that are owe (over 3k to date) and other things promised to me in my contract. They also promised registration of my licenses and financial certifications, which I now know will never happen , which could cause these to laps causing me to re write exams to re certifi/ license., thus spending money money! I Have also heard rumors…

Fast forward till now. I Have also heard rumors of empolyees being treated very badly by managment. They also may be conducting fraud (uncomfirmed, but I have seen some odd / shady things!)

I have decided I don't want to stick around to find out how this ends. I have re read my contact I signed and have noticed it states I have to give 1 month notice. My states employment standards rules state, more than 90 days but less the 2 years of employment; only required to give 1 week. It also states that you don't have to give any notice if:

there is a different established custom or practice in an industry respecting terms of employment

continuing to be employed by the employer would endanger the employee’s personal health or safety

the employment contract is impossible to perform due to unforeseeable or unpreventable causes beyond the employee’s control

they are casual employees employed under an arrangement where they may choose to work or not when asked to do so

they quit because of a reduction in wage rate, overtime rate, vacation pay, general holiday pay or termination pay

Reddit please provide your feed back, does this fall with in my right to give 1 week or just peace out. Thanks
