I was interviewing at a hotel today. The HR person mentioned that the hotel has very high turnover. She mentioned someone quit after one day and countless other people that quit. Said the hotel has done Everything. Everything but raise wages. It amazes me how out of touch people in these positions are. Just like the government leaders, do everything but the obvious for the electorate. I wanted to say did you think about paying people more. I’m rooting for more. More and higher turnover until these business pay more. Pizza Parties and culture don’t pay them bills. Pay more and maybe workers will take you seriously.
