I do not want to quit and enjoy working here. This is a multibillion dollar company that should not have these issues.
They acknowledged their mistake but cannot give me a concrete answer on when I will get paid and claim it is impossible for them to pay me immediately. At the soonest it will be 9/9 or included with a 9/15 paycheck.
This would have gone unnoticed had I not checked and followed up. Is there any reasonable action to be taken here? Is a DOL claim possible if they claim they are going to pay me eventually? I had to borrow money from family to pay rent today and other bills in the next few days.
Employment offer states semi monthly pay.
