i have worked at this job for almost a year. regular employees used to make $14.25/hour in 2022 (i work in massachusetts). starting 2023 regular employees got bumped up to $15/hour. it took our payroll person a week to fix our pay to $15 after january 1st and pay us what we were owed.
we have a manager that never works at our location nor does she oversee anything, she works at another location 90% of the time.
our manager and assistant manager, after me and another reg employee bugged them, started training to be supervisors. me and the other regular employee, we will call him X for the sake of privacy, started training to open and somewhat to close. we were told we would get the $17/hour supervisor pay as a stipend, meaning we would get our regular $15/hour plus the difference of the supervisor pay.
we never got our stipend. we have bugged our manager for a week and a half with no response our outcome. not to mention X and I are doing supervisor things without the supervisor pay.
what should i do? we don't have access to our corporate.
