Hello. Currently, I'm trying to file a report to the Department of Labor after my employer has been withholding wages from me for now over 9 months. They originally said it was because “they were waiting for tax season”, and tried to guilt trip me over requesting my pay, saying I need to understand this is a start up and to be considerate.
Now, a month ago, they finally paid all their other employees, but not me, because I complained. Their HR/Staff Manager cursed me out via the messaging service we used and insulted me for asking for my wages.
Now, I'm trying to file this claim, but can't without their phone number. The problem is, they now have cut all contact with me, removed me from all communications, and never gave me their number. They don't have a public number or anything, and this was for a very small game company.
What could I do, if I cannot file a report without a number? The state department called me back and basically said “You need the number by this date, or else it won't go through. You have to find it on your own”.
I've searched on their website, personal social media of owners, everything. I have a massive pile of evidence for them withholding wages and harassing employees, and just need this one thing to be able to file a report.
Edit: I do have their email address, but I specifically need their phone number to be able to submit the claim.
The company is in Arizona, I worked remotely for them on the east coast.
I stopped working for them immediately when they stopped paying, but they never sent me the owed wages, and instead harassed and belittled me when I asked, and tried to cut all communications.
