I recently put in my resignation for a retail store to go to another one. I want to leave on good terms so I am giving my 2 week notice. My supervisor said because it’s a competitor, I may have to leave work asap once they get the “ok” from HR and not finish my 2 weeks. Is this a thing? I’m very confused and oddly enough, WANT to finish my two weeks to help my team. I don’t want it to look like I left on bad terms when I did my due diligence and gave a notice and was respectful.
