Employer trying to guilt trip me into working Saturday despite having family plans

Normally I don’t mind working an extra shift on Saturday because hey its extra money and I don’t totally hate my job (construction insepctor). I told them I’m helping family move out tomorrow so I can’t do it but they keep trying to ask me to “step up and help out”. Funny how they always forget all the hundreds of times you’ve sacrificed for them when they want more from you. I’m helping my mother-in-law move out of her apartment and into her new one. I can’t reschedule and she’s been expecting me to help her out for weeks (she lives alone and is extremely anxious about moving all the heavy furniture). It’s put such a bad taste in my mouth I honestly never want to “step up” and help this company ever again. It’s not my fault that they take on more projects than we can realistically handle. I…
