I was fired from my workplace around 9 am on Monday 6/27. Colorado law states that if employment is terminated by the employer, their last paycheck is due immediately or within six hours of the accountant’s reopening if they were closed. I still have not received my paycheck as of Wednesday 6/29. I don’t think I can afford a lawyer as I was fired very unexpectedly. What should my next steps be?
