Employers should help employees cover the costs of business professional attire.

Many may disagree, but I think finances are a major barrier to gainful employment at jobs that require business professional/casual attire. Sure, you could shop at thrift store, but even then, many people don't have enough money to do that. Ok I get it, don't take a job that requires a certain type of attire, but if it's a decent opportunity, and the cost of a new wardrobe is a legitimate hindrance, then what? These are the types of things the “pull yourself up by the bootstrap” crowd overlooks. Has anyone gone through this this? How did you handle it? Thanks for listening.
