Every job I start begins with the fake hellos and the fake getting to know you. Then a week or less in you realize why no one wants to work these jobs.
There is Always some manager on a power trip.
Literally one of my supervisors is dating someone that works here and has her kids working here. Making it extremely clicky. And they didn't seem to like me from the start for whatever reason.
Just because I am filling your crappy position doesn't mean I am less of a person.
Just because you don't want to be my friend doesn't mean I can't fill this position and do it well.
I've gotten nothing but compliments. Still she ignores me or I'll say have a good night. She says I will. Just that kinda manager.
They wonder why no one wants work here. Notices everywhere asking if anyone we know is looking for a job. Yes I do but I won't recommend this place now.
Be professional would be a start to getting decent people to fill the position.
Who cares if we are different I can do this job you need period.
Some people have to take these terrible jobs while they finish school or learn thier trade. Like I am doing right now.
It's just so degrading. When will it end. When will they get the hint. Just venting. I would love to read any other work horror stories. While I'm here debating on why I am working here. Trying to figure out what else I can do to pay bills.
It seems to make the managers , bosses, corporate so happy to make everyone else feel less then. You need people then treat them like that. Period.
Short version: Crappy supervisors are the reason for your high turn over period. Tell me your story ️
