My company offers unlimited PTO, which from what I understand is essentially a scam so there are no employee payouts, no time earned or accrued, and no sense of urgency to use time earned.
In anyone’s experience is it really a double edged sword? I’d love to hear the pros and cons from personal experience! I’m dreadfully worried I won’t be able to navigate the complex scenario of unlimited PTO. I’ve been told it’s at your manager’s discretion to approve it.
