I (20) work in customs at a logistics company. And they’ve decided to extend my 3 month probation by another 3 months. I have 1 year and 6 months experience in exports (not imports) and I stated this in the interview with a manger (notably not the person in charge of the decision) this is mainly due to some basic mistakes I’ve made within imports that they deem unacceptable due to my apparent experience. Is this worth bringing up? I really need this job and actually don’t dread going to work for the first time; the thought of another 3 months of uncertainty makes me super anxious.
Other people who have been employed at this company for about a year seem to make frequent and basic mistakes a lot-is this worth also worth mentioning?
Should I just suck it up? or bring up that there may have been some miscommunication regarding my experience within the industry?
