If it was up to me, I would've been at peace stocking shelves, but $200 on 5 days a week can't pay the bills, let alone rent in a cheaper apartment. I tried by best to find a good job that pays better. One idea was serving food which can have its benefits despite the entire tipping system being really shady. Then there's higher education or trades that take way too much time, money and stuff I have to force myself into. Stuff that I can't afford on a whim. And I just feel trapped.
The the frustrating thing is that its EVERYWHERE. So even if it might be fun working in nerd shop, that probably doesn't pay well. Then you have certain places claiming to start 15.00 which sounds great until you discover that was a lie, OR there's a catch in cutting your hours so it breaks even. I keep feeling like there's no other options. Is there?
Like am I missing anything? Did I overlook certain places? It seems no matter where I go I get more fuel for this feeling.
