After five long years of working for a company that continuously cuts labor force and refuses to give raises, I have finally decided to leave. It has been a tough journey, especially with the added pressure of working with faulty software and maintenance issues due to the company's decision to let go of crucial positions.
Despite our struggles, the company has set record profits this year. However, it's clear that these profits were made at the expense of their hard-working employees who are expected to meet unrealistic targets with limited resources.
But, it's time for a change. I am excited to announce that I have received a new job offer for about four times as much as my current salary. It's a relief to finally work for a company that values their employees and provides them with the necessary tools to succeed.
To anyone else struggling in a similar situation, remember that your worth is not defined by your job. Don't be afraid to leave a toxic work environment and seek out better opportunities.
How can I tell my manager that I'm leaving in the most corporate “Fuck You” words as possible?
