Finally left and I’m super excited

I left my old job, a place I had been for almost 4 years. I made 50k a year, with the highest I made being 64k (40k base overtime got me to 64k) while there I tried to negotiate my promotion and was forced to take it or leave. Right when COVID had started so I took it and made 14k less. I dealt with the bullshit, micro aggressions, nepotism, and seeing senior positions given to people because “he’s a great guy” I make 96k now, work for a European company and get to work way less and have a real career. Homeownership isn’t looking impossible anymore but a new possibility is moving out the US to escape this hell. Fuck you and your 4.2% raise when WE(the people who did the work) got you to 4billion in revenue. Ps, equity doesn’t cover the cost of food To sum it…

To sum it down, leave a job if you can as soon as shit isn’t right. They let it get bad then they won’t fix it
