Today after eight weeks at a daycare I was told that upon allegedly speaking to parents and other employees in the facility, administration determined due to “concerns”, my position wasn’t a good fit. However they did offer a position as “lunch breaker” which prompted me to just walk out. First of all according to my observation report literally a week ago I was doing fine. Second I only work with two teachers,
one who always gave me nasty looks and has even accused me of child abuse. The rest i’ve only had minimal interaction with. Parents, they’ve never seemed to have an issue until now? apparently I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to do. Says the one who would throw random kids in the classroom random times of the day, sometimes totaling 10 or more and refused to let me leave early when I was very sick, and who would send me home early multiple times a week when there were less than five kids. I feel absolutely helpless right now, like a freaking loser.
