Seriously, every fast food and retail store is apparently desperately needing new employees, but not one place I’ve applied to wants to give full time hours. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Employers want to still be picky with the hours they gave while also “urgently” needing new workers. It’s just corporate greed, it’s that plain and simple. No where wants to compensate someone for their work and just wants you to rely on multiple jobs. This isn’t how shit should be. My mom told me that “that’s just how it is”. Listen, when you were 18 over 20 years ago, it didn’t cost $1700 a month for an apartment.
