Hey everyone. Coming here for some advice. Over the past month or so my husband has been dealing with an infection and finally got surgery for it two weeks ago. On his first day back they fired him due to his time missed. We live in an “at will”state but that still seems like absolute BS. Is there anything we could do? My husband actually has a better job lined up (yay!) but overall it just makes me so angry that an employer would ever fire someone for having SURGERY.
