Fired for raising concern about employee safety after a major incident

Seeking advice after I got fired from my job yesterday after raising concerns about employee safety. Basically the cabinets and some lumber fell off the wall. Luckily my coworker saw it starting to fall and was able to hold it up so I could get away. We called the shop owner after the incident on Friday night and he said we can clean it up as he was “too busy” to come in and help clean up the following morning. We told him we don’t feel comfortable or safe cleaning it up as we had not installed it and were worried about more pieces of wood falling off. He came in Saturday morning to clean it up and I told there’s gotta be some sort of safety violation if that fell off the wall unprovoked like that and that I don’t feel safe working until it is checked out and installed properly. All the wood and the cabinets were drilled into drywall with what appears to be incorrect screws. He told me I can call OSHA if its that serious and he offered me to leave for the day and he would cover my shift that day. I took him up on that offer and headed out. He called me back into the store and told me if I leave that I am no longer considered as an employee of the store. I repeated that I am not working until the wood and cabinets are safely installed and he said that it is not going to change. Am I able to file any sort of wrongful termination suit?
