So I've been debating mentioning this because of how old it was. Basically when I was working back in January I got a COVID scare. It took a while to get tested so I filled in the daily wellness check up and called in all but one day I was out. This daily wellness check is supposed to go to my supervisor and he would contact the agency I work for to let them know. Technically there is one more step I was supposed to do. I was supposed to contact my agency as well so I know I have a fault here.
After some time waiting for the results and symptoms to go away I get a text saying I have been essentially fired for abandoning my position. I was told that I had been labeled as quitting but basically I was fired.
I don't know if I'm in the wrong here or if I genuinely was mistreated but honestly at this point I'd just like to know.
