I know someone who was fired through text. This is from a job that has a worker shortage and everyone was quitting. The person called out for their first time and later in the day gets a text saying they are let go with no explanation. Is there any advice I can give to that person other than just take the check and bounce from that toxic place? The clients were their main reason for staying.
