I was called by 3 recruiters for a seasonal position at Nordstrom. It's not for the main one but one of the smaller divisions. Seasonal position in California.
So my first day is today. Came in, manager is a nice guy. Um, he only has me and a new hire and another guy in the back. Both of us wonder where are the other employees. Very boring place, dealing with returns. We came in at 9am. It's 12pm and no break at all. Then it's almost 2pm. He goes on lunch first, then he days we have to take it later after the 5th hour. The other female was fine with no break saying we have to work hard.
Then he makes the schedule and schedules us for 40 hours on days that I said the recruiter that I could not work. He said the recruiter told him I had open availability.
So yeah. I think I will send an email saying I quit.
