As the title says this is my first ever post here but I’ve been a following for some time now. But that’s not what I’m here for.
I am an auto mechanic of 12 years, done PLENTY of different jobs at dealerships and mom and pop shops and this field absolutely sucks. I’m so tired of working for people and I just got let go because the shop I got hired at 20 days ago can’t pay the labor costs they need to maintain three technicians. Why even fucking hire me then? People always say “your generation just doesn’t want to work.” Yeah well it’s because of dumbasses like you that fire us without notice for stupid bullshit. 🤦
