Right when I get my dream car, my job is rumored to be doing away with my work location and possibly transferring me somewhere with no guarantee of hours due to seniority because I am part-time. Like what the fuck!? It’s bad enough that I only get paid $15 an hour, doing tedious tasks and exhausting myself with thousands of guests per hour, but now I have to worry about getting put on a 0 hour schedule? Even worse, nobody in my department has a definite answer as to what will happen. Management, people below management, and lastly, trainers, and people at my level, all had different answers as to what could happen; nothing but discrepancies and uncertainties here. I’d say fuck a raise, fuck it; just guarantee part timers hours, and enough with this constructive dismissal, “at will state” motherfucking bullshit.
