Flexible hours is just a fancy way of saying “no life balance”

I don't know what's going on lately but I keep entering jobs where the hours are all over the place, last week into this week, I will have worked 6 consecutive days in a row, with the oddest hours. But then they tell me hours will dramatically fall in January. I'm beginning to see why people quit so easily in this new place, it's not a bad job, it's just badly managed. I go to bed early and boom, back into work almost as fast 10:00 until 8:30 today. Great money, but no time.
