A while back I made a post about my job telling everybody that we had to clock out to go to the bathroom, well I had spoken to a lawyer or two and I feel pretty comfortable with what was said.
As of right now there is nothing that can be done legally, I can report them but unless they do anything in retaliation I have no case. However, we received a new senior vice president over my region recently and after informing him of the toxicity and bullying that was occurring from my regional and my team lead both of them have been fired.
As he put it best”you should be comfortable while working, not feel like you're livelihood is being threatened” he is also transferring me to a different region due to certain employees on my team feeling some type of way about both of these employees being disciplined.
I was threatened a week or two ago with termination due to technical issues with the computer equipment they sent me. This was a major miscommunication on my team leads part but in the end it led to both of them being let go for their actions. From telling me the technical issues were my fault to getting on to me about a restroom breaks even though I'm currently going after accommodations.
At this time currently I am still working for this company but that can all change, I am currently looking for other work but at this time due to a move coming up I will be staying with this company until after I am at my new place for a month with my family.
I want to thank all of you who gave me very good advice, it was because of you guys that I stepped up even more and caused a change within my job. Now if our SVP stays on that is up in the air, usually when people are this genuine and upfront they do not last long here.
I will keep updating you all on the status of what is going on,
You guys are awesome don't let anyone tell you that you're not worth anything at your job. Sometimes the only way to change the system is from the inside.
