I see there are many people in here with such deep thoughts and anger towards a society they feel has gone mad and also wronged them. I think this has perpared them for the proposed issued. It seems we have forgotten the lessons we failed to learn as teenagers. Stop silently screaming into the abyss of the internet and go outside. It is the first step to the brave old world.
Remember, how everything was getting better all the time until it all started getting worse?. What were we doing during the improvement years?
I can identify the following of which we must return before we can fix this mess.
1 Graffiti.
Good graffiti, that makes a valid point. Why does no one spray paint “Elon musk has more money than 25% of all Americans combined.” It because the silently type it into the void just as they have been conditioned to do. The message may get up votes, but does not capture hearts and minds.
(Full disclosure, I made up those statistics about Elon, but it's something horrifying like that.)
- Making a lot of loud noise to express discontent.
People don't scream in the street anymore. We will never get anywhere until enough people literally go outside in real life, kick over a soapbox, stand up on it, and start screaming about the problems and loudly proposing solutions.
- Vandalism
Some stuff someone has to break. Dystopian Fingerprint scanner to use the bathroom at work? Break that shit. Break the replacement, and the one after. Its worth getting fired.
- Loitering.
We need people with nothing to do hanging around parks and convenience stores. It's how we always used to get things done.
- Drugs.
Stop doing all the wrong drugs.
- Drugs
Start doing the right drugs. Well…. no one specifically has to take drugs if they dont want, but allow people to do the right drugs. This will stop them doing the wrong drugs.
- Fucking.
The rate of people fucking is declining. People need to be fucking way more.
If we could achieve any 4 out of 7, I think we will be on our way to the goal of being able to afford to live.
