For every credit card application you get $3

I hate being pressured to ask customers if they want to fill out a credit card application for our store. I feel like I'm scamming my customers. I feel even worse when they say yes. I hate trying to encourage people what great in store deals they'll get if they sign and are approved. I hate that my boss and his bosses think an extra $3 is a great incentive to pressure people to spend 15 minutes extra minutes in the store for a chance at getting approved. I'm tired of customers getting mad that I have the nerve to ask such a thing. The whole process feels so wrong and I've relayed this to my boss but he just claims that I need to push my thoughts and morals aside and get those applications. I don't think I'll be fired for not getting people to apply for credit cards. I just wish my boss would stop pressuring to try and get at least 2 a day.
