Forced to answer “who is your boss” over and over

I actually use to love my job. I’ve been the one to go above and beyond to try to help meet goals and expectations but we are human make mistakes and only know what we know. Recently I guess my department made a mistake (regarding a rule we didn’t even know about) anyway this resulted in a boss repeatedly forcing us to answer “who is your boss” honestly i lost count after the forth time of having to answer and just felt so humiliated. Now i just don’t want to go to work anymore ever
